More about Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is performed with blunt-tipped non-surgical blades and painlessly exfoliates the outer layer of dead skin and removes fine facial hair commonly known as peach fuzz. Facial hair returns softly and will not become coarser because of the treatment. Peach fuzz or velours hair is one of the two types of hair that everyone has. The other type of hair is terminal hair, which is the coarser hair. Because velours hair is so fine and very different from terminal hair, cutting it does not make it grow in thicker. Dermaplaning is best to perform every 4-6 weeks.
